PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

The 2-Seal™ Tie is an innovative single-screw veneer tie for metal stud construction. Fabricated from carbon steel with a premium organic polymer coating, it has a dual-diameter barrel with factory-installed EPDM washers to seal both the insulation face and the air/vapor barrier—unlike single-barrel types that only seal at the insulation.

Key Features:
  • Integrated #12 screw in a dual-diameter barrel for superior sealing.
  • EPDM washers on both faces to prevent air and moisture infiltration.
  • Barrel lengths from 5/8″ to 6½″ to accommodate insulation or wallboard thickness.
  • Polymer-coated carbon steel construction for corrosion resistance.
Installation Notes:
  • Requires 2-Seal™ Chuck Adapter for secure installation.
  • Accepts a 3/16″ × 3″, 4″ or 5″ 2-Seal™ Byna-Lok™ Wire Tie (for masonry veneer mortar joint).
  • Adaptable for seismic zones with 9 ga. or 3/16″ continuous wire dropped into the tie’s integral track.
