LW-340 Long Wedge Inserts are embedded into concrete slabs when additional vertical adjustability is required. Designed for bottom-of-slab applications, the insert’s open face remains flush with the finished concrete surface once forms are removed. Its internal bevel accepts an Askew Head Bolt, producing an automatic tightening action under load.
Installation Notes:- Install LW-340 inserts at bottom of slab, ensuring a minimum 1½″ of concrete above the anchor.
- Nail holes on the back allow easy fastening to forms before pouring.
- Once forms are stripped, the insert’s face is flush with the concrete surface.
- The Askew Head Bolt’s beveled head engages the internal wedge to tighten when loaded.

- Recommended Torque: 150 ft·lbs.
