PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
HW-340 Malleable Iron Wedge Inserts are set into concrete slabs to provide a secure, adjustable anchorage point for attaching fixtures or materials. The insert’s open face sits flush with the finished concrete surface after form removal, and its internal bevel accepts an Askew Head Bolt for automatic tightening under load.
Installation Notes:- Install standard HW-340 inserts at least 1½″ from the bottom of the slab.
- Nail holes on the back allow easy fastening to forms before pouring.
- Once forms are stripped, the insert’s face is flush with the concrete.
- The Askew Head Bolt’s beveled head engages the internal wedge to tighten when loaded.
- Hot-Dip Galvanized
